Rezoning for Housing

In September 2023, City Council approved the Housing Strategy. The overall objective of the strategy is to address the ongoing housing crisis.

One of the actions proposed is a citywide rezoning to a base residential district (or zone) of R-CG or R-G.

I’ll be hosting a virtual town hall on April 15 to address questions and concerns from residents. If you have any questions or comments about the rezoning proposal, you can submit them ahead of time.

Council will be hosting a public hearing on April 22nd. Residents can submit comments beforehand or register to speak via phone or in person.
