Neighbourhood Streets - Panorama Hills
The City of Calgary is testing a Neighbourhood Streets pilot policy with the goal of creating local streets where neighbours can connect and choose travel options, no matter their age or ability. Fortunately for Ward 3, this pilot is happening in Panorama Hills and includes adjustments such as temporary and permanent curb extensions, speed humps, and pedestrian crossings. You can view a full map here and details of the project here.
Construction of the various street improvements will begin in Spring and Summer 2023 and be completed Fall 2023.
Update: Work on the traffic calming improvements has begun as of May 2023. Construction will continue through the summer.
